We find where your plumbing shop loses money

The part on the supply-house ticket that never reached the invoice.

Quotes that sit until Friday, and Saturday's emergency swap with its permit due Monday. We walk your shop, put a dollar figure on the ones that cost you every month, then fix them, starting with the tools you already use.

A Gainesville company. Free first call, in English or Spanish. We usually call back the same business day.

What we automate in a plumbing shop

Most fixes land in what you already use: Excel, QuickBooks, your job app or a tool we build.

  • Property manager and home-warranty work orders, read from the emailed PDF into your job list.
  • Jobs waiting on a part, booked the day the supply house says it's in.
  • Finished jobs listed every morning until each one is invoiced.
  • Supplier bills checked for returns with no credit and prices above what you agreed.
  • Water heater permits on your list the next business day after an emergency swap, and checked on PermitGNV and Citizenserve until inspection.
  • Reminders all year to your customers, like water heater flushes and yearly backflow tests.

On the walk, we find which of these your shop has. See the full list for plumbing

For shops the owner runs, with one person in the office or none.

What you keep Keep Jobber, Housecall Pro or whatever runs your dispatch. We work on everything around it.

How it works

You can stop after any of them.

  1. Today

    Free

A free call, by phone. You tell us where the week goes. We tell you plainly whether a walk would pay for itself.

  2. The walk

    Paid

A visit to your business, and a look at your records.

The walk starts at $500. Bigger businesses get a quote on the free call. Start a fix of $1,500 or more within 30 days and the walk fee comes off its price.

Not worth it to you? Text or email us within 7 days of the call where you go over your sheet, and you get the walk fee back.

  3. Your sheet

Every problem in dollars, usually within a week of getting your records. You keep it either way.

  4. Then, only if you want

    Paid

One fix, priced before work starts, and a monthly check you can cancel any month.

The tank on the ticket never reached the invoice.

Job 4470, a water heater swap. The supply-house ticket shows a 2-gallon expansion tank, $165.00 installed in your price book. The invoice has no tank line. It went in unbilled, went back to the counter, or is still on Dave's truck. You say which before any line is added.

The fix: every invoice checked against its job's tickets before it goes out, and anything missing sent to you to approve. This is one of the things a walk looks for.

Check your own tickets first: the weekly ticket check in Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks.

Night jobs billed at the after-hours rate, with the permit on the morning list.

If you take night jobs, the line forwards to whoever is on call that week, with a card in English and Spanish. The next workday, the invoice has the after-hours line and the permit is on your list.

Before Every night call lands on your cell, the job is billed at the day rate, and Monday's permit waits for someone to remember.

Every water heater swap needs a permit, and after a weekend emergency swap Florida's building code lets the application go in the next business day (FBC 105.2.1). A City of Gainesville permit expires if no inspection is requested within 180 days of being issued.

Who walks your business

Most owners I meet lose their evenings to the same few jobs: the quote typed up at night, the invoice that never went out, the call nobody got back to.

Before Lumora I did the paperwork at a water damage company, and I automated most of it. Now Lumora walks businesses around Gainesville and does the same.

I speak English and Spanish, so your office can work in either.
